Functional Safety is increasingly being relied upon to maintain safe operating conditions within the machinery space, whether it be through the use of an Emergency Stop, a light curtain, interlocking covers and switches, motor drives and/or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to make correct and safe decisions.
